We are indebted to the enthusiasm, talent and dedication of our volunteers. We sincerely appreciate that they give their time to make a difference at the Centre and in the local community.
In addition to our group of volunteers who regularly assist people in need, we are also seeking expressions of interest from solicitors who are interested in volunteering their time to assist our clients.
If you are someone who wants to give back to the community, enjoys meeting people and assisting people from all walks of life, you are welcome to inquire about volunteering with us.
In conjunction with local universities, we run multiple law-student clinics throughout the year. These clinics provide law students with firstly, practical experience in the law but also introduces them to community legal centres and an insight into legal issues within the community.

In conjunction with Griffith University, the Centre accepts social work student volunteers through their required 500 hour placement as part of their studies. Social work students work alongside our social work team to learn and explore their area of practice and intersection between social work services and legal services within a CLC.
To assist with our intake and front desk demand, the Centre has a front desk volunteer program open to members of the public interested in giving their time to help be a first point of contact for those reaching out for help.
